Overview:
GottaPlay is a web-based video game rental service. Browse their collection of games for a variety of consoles, select the games you'd like the rent, and expect to see your first rentals in your mailbox soon (in most cases, within a day). Keep each game as long as you like; once you're through, mail it back to receive your next rental. Gottaplay has consolidated several video game rental clubs and subsequently added several more shipping centers, which means their shipping is amongst the fastest available.

GottaPlay has recently reduced their monthly rate to $8.95, making it the cheapest online.

Overview:
IntelliFlix has grown from a relatively small player in the online game rental industry to a serious competitor. IntelliFlix specialize in both games and DVD rental. What really sets them apart is the fact that you can choose to become a subscriber and pay a monthly fee, or just pay as you rent. Pay as you rent would be ideal for low volume renters.

IntelliFlix has a huge selection of games (2800+), adult movies and DVDs. When you subscribe you can choose whether you want to rent movies & games, just movies or pay per rental. IntellFlix has recently expanded to include 25 new shipping locations across the US. So shipping time is usually within 48 hours.

A BlockBuster subscription is ideal for someone who is planning on renting DVDs as well as games. BlockBuster has one of the largest selections of DVDs online and now boasts over 2,500 game titles.
